What can I find on SignHeraldsOfTheSCA.com?
This website was created to be a go-to resource to find all kinds of information revolving around signed communication in the SCA, including but not limited to:
Sign Heralds (volunteers who transpose voiced communication to signed communication and vice versa) and other Signers within the SCA.
Language-learning resources in an SCA-context (such as sign dictionaries for each Signed Language of the Known World, introductory grammar materials, etc).
Tools that allow for more accessibility at both virtual and in-person events within the Society, such as this BROCHURE (PDF download) for illustrating d/Deaf-created signs for the SCA to be provided at events that have court sessions.
Recordings/writings on research about d/Deaf history pre-seventeenth century.
Upcoming virtual or in-person classes or presentations for teaching a signed language in an SCA context or d/Deaf history pre-seventeenth century.
